Sanskrit Sādhakas

Wish you had some Sanskrit playmates? Some Sanskrit geeks who don't take themselves too seriously but love to play with the language? Come join us for some word play! We meet once a week to puzzle over ślokas and talk philosophy of yoga, ayurveda, jyotish, inner alchemy and tantra.  You must have basic knowledge of Sanskrit.  If you're a newbie, no worries!  We're a laid back bunch.  We usually translate 2-3 ślokas a week, and sometimes work on grammar topics from textbooks.
THIS IS NOT A CLASS -

It's a chance for Sanskrit nerds to get together and mull over translations, while learning a little more.
We're currently working on through the Maurer textbook, The Sanskrit Language, and translating Vijñanabhairava Tantra, with an occasional śloka or other conundrum thrown in by our regulars.
